Are you working for a professionally managed company? It is perhaps a matter of pride for us to label ourselves as professionals and claim to be employed in a professionally managed outfit. The term "being professional" is the most frequently used yet largely misunderstood term. As we check our understanding of this word with others we realize that it is the classic case of the four blind men each giving the description of the elephant based on their individual feel and each being right in their own sense. The key question is what are the qualifying conditions for a company to earn the distinction of being acknowledged as professionally managed.
