Director, Product Management (2002-2003)
Managed seven major product lines and two development products for the largest manufacturer of plastic card printers, a business unit of a $475 million company.
- Launched three major product updates, assuring final qualifications and release to manufacturing that are forecasted to generate $36 million in revenues annually.
- Developed three custom printer products that were released to manufacturing and will sell 1,000 units annually. Primary customers include Wal*Mart, Texas Instruments and the Taiwanese government.
- Defined future product lines for subsequent research and development.

Director, Applications Engineering (1993-1997)
Directed a team of engineers that handled technical issues concerning the OEM qualifications and use of company products. Micropolis produced three lines of hard drives with annual revenues of $400 million.
- Led the qualification of two major disk drive products for Compaq Computer that represented more than $75 million in sales.
- Established a tracking process that managed the qualification of products from design to acceptance for OEM buyers.
- Implemented a proactive approach to capture OEM customer requirements and held regular meetings with customer's engineers in support of sales strategies for current and future products.

Applications Engineer, Reading, England (1981-1983)
Provided technical sales presentations, technical support, customer training, applications guidance, repair services and root-cause failure analysis to the Micropolis European customer base for floppy disk and 8-inch disk drive products.
- Customer base included: ICL, Olivetti, Siemens (multiple divisions), Commodore Computers, Kontron, Facit, Dansk, Tulip (Compudata), Luxor and a network of resellers.
- Set up an engineering lab and a repair/service workshop in support of European sales.
- Prepared and presented technical training classes on floppy and 8-inch disk drives; trained in excess of 75 engineers in disk drive diagnostics and repair.
- International Computers Ltd., Manchester, England 1977-1980
Design Engineer
Designed electronics for a line of workstations for a leading European computer manufacturer with revenues of $300 million.
- Designed the video controller board for a full-page display (960x1,000 pixels) for use in a dedicated word processing system. Added a downloadable font system and adapted external font files.
- Created working prototypes for a video display using a rear-projected cathodochromic system.
