ROLE OF HR
POLICY FRAMING AND IMPLEMENTATION
HR Department will frame policies in consultation with the management and recognized union, where required, of issues related to :
- Working conditions
- Leaves
- Holidays
- Other matters as they may come up
The policies thus framed should be legally compliant.
The department will also document the procedure and modalities as to when, where and how the policies will be applicable, how they will be implemented and monitored.
MANPOWER DISTRIBUTION, RECRUITMENT
Department wise manpower requirement
To Monitor requirement and arrange for recruitment.
To fulfill the requirements of the departments in terms of manpower within the shortest possible duration.
DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING
To develop schemes , policies that will help in motivating and retaining employees.
To develop systems of monitoring Performance of individuals and groups.
To identify training needs for sustained improvement in performance.
To identify training needs for succession planning.
GRIEVANCE HANDLING & DISCIPLINARY MATTERS
Grievance Procedure :
HR department will device a procedure that is acceptable to the management as well as the recognized union for handling the grievances of the employees and also the method adopted for conducting disciplinary actions.
The methodology will be written down and informed to all the employees.
Ensuring that there is no deviation in process until and unless the circumstances so require.
Disciplinary Matters :
HR will ensure that the discipline in the premises of the company is maintained at the best possible level and where required the disciplinary matters will be dealt with in accordance to the law applicable.
